Option Parking
A complete garage and parking management system — controls gates, cards, pricing, subscriptions, and reports from a single interface.
How the System Works
The system consists of ZKTeco boards connected to the gates, plus a management app that controls every operation from entry to exit to payment. The app polls boards every 3 seconds and handles every event automatically.
Boards (ZKTeco)
Smart ZKTeco devices read cards and control gate opening. Each board connects over TCP/IP with its own IP address.
Gates
Each gate is linked to a board and has a type: Entry or Exit gate. A single board can run multiple gates.
RFID Cards
RFID cards scanned at the reader on entry and exit. Each card has a type, unique number, and a state that changes by location.
Sessions
Every entry creates a new session capturing entry time, exit time, calculated amount, and payment method.
4 Card Types with Different Behavior
Each type behaves differently on entry, exit, and payment.
Regular
Default card for visitors and walk-in customers
Subscription
Card linked to a monthly or yearly subscription
VIP
For management, officers, and VIP guests
Employee
For the venue's staff and garage employees
Entry & Exit Step by Step
From card scan to gate opening — every step is logged automatically.
Card swiped at entry reader
The customer brings the card to the reader. The board logs the event in RTLog.
System picks up the event (RTLog polling)
The app polls boards every 3 seconds. When it finds a new event, it identifies the gate and the card number.
Validate card and state
Card must exist, be active, and have state "Available". Otherwise the attempt is denied and audit-logged.
Create a session & open gate
A new active session is created with entry time. Card state becomes InUse, then the gate opens.
Card swiped at exit reader
Customer brings the card to the exit reader.
Locate the active session
System finds the open session linked to that card. Card must be in InUse state.
Calculate the amount due
System computes the time between entry and exit, then applies the pricing rules for the card type.
Collect payment & open gate
Cashier confirms the payment method (cash / card / wallet / Instapay). Gate opens, session closes, card returns to Available.
Flexible Pricing for Any Garage
Two pricing modes: hourly or fixed — pick whichever fits your garage best.
⏳ Hourly Pricing
The amount is calculated based on how long the customer stayed.
Entered 10:00, exited 13:30
Duration = 3h 30m
After grace = 3h 15m
Rounded up = 4h
💵 Fixed Pricing
A single flat amount regardless of stay duration.
Entered 10:00, exited 18:00
Duration = 8h
Duration ignored — flat amount
💡 VIP, Employee, and active Subscription cards are always free regardless of the pricing mode.
